I am in major help of seo. I am a webdesigner trying to learn seo. So im working on this one site (discountmike.com) and trying to get it some more views form south florida. So what ive been hearing is links are essential. So i found this service that supposedly says it cant get you many effecive links. the site is seosubmit.com. Anyone know if it actually works and if its worth it?

Also, if anyone who is well experienced with seo can give me any tips/pointers for discountmike.com that would be great!

That site will get you black booked and sent to the end of the line.
Hire a professional. SEO takes years of learning and done wrong can cost you big time.

I would not recommend using a multi-link-submitting-service. Most of these are recorded as spammers, and using them will put your website on the blacklists too.
The best way to go ahead is to optimise your website for search engines, and start working on getting “real” inbound links:
Step 1: Make sure you have plenty, high quality (means interesting for your visitors), unique (written yourself, not copied) content on your blog
Step 2: Write a few articles about your topic, and post them on article directories such as ezinearticles.com and such. This will create links towards your blog
Step 3: Write articles that answer peoples questions about the topic here on answers. Then answer their questions here in answers.
Step 4: Submit your website to directories such as dmoz.org and plenty of others
Step 5: Find other blogs about the same topic, and comment on their articles, make sure your comment adds something usefull, not just saying something like “great blog”. Put a link to your blog in your comment.
Step 6: submit your blog to sites like mybloglog.com and blogcatalog.com and get a good community of friends there.

I have to agree, a service like that is way to spammy. Do your article writing, submitting to article directories, use social bookmarks, like onlywire.com, and by all means, get QUALITY backlinks to your site. THAT is key.

If you don’t know how to get the quality backinks, you can have them done for you. Most services of this kind are expensive. Now, you can do this yourself, you just have to know where, and it does take up your time you could spend doing other tasks.
